Podiatry at Platts Physiotherapy
Here at Platts Physiotherapy we know how important it is to take care of your body and this includes your feet and toenails. Which is why we began a podiatry service in our Sedgefield Practice to keep your feet at their best.
A podiatrist, also known as a chiropodist, is a healthcare professional who specialises in diagnosing and treating conditions of the feet and nails.
A podiatrist will start with an assessment of your overall foot health and is able to diagnose and treat any problems you may be experiencing and can also educate and advise on foot and nail care.
Our highly skilled podiatrists provide treatment for a range of conditions of the foot and nails.
Nail care and conditions including:
General nail care/Nail cutting
Dry cracked heels
Diabetic foot health.
Podiatry treatment can benefit anyone of any age who struggle with a range of foot or nails conditions. Some may visit a podiatrist every 4-8 weeks or as and when it is needed, but your podiatrist can recommend how regularly you may need treatment, to keep your feet healthy and pain free.
We have a podiatry clinic every Tuesday and Wednesday and the last Monday of the month in our Sedgefield practice only.
Our podiatrists are highly skilled, experienced and friendly, providing you with the best treatment, so your feet are at their maximum potential.
Our podiatrists are also members of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and the Health and Care Professions Council.
